Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Deliver student-focused virtual speech therapy sessions that align with IEP standards.

• Perform thorough speech-language assessments using Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Attend IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for students receiving "Speech Only" services as necessary.

• Methodically track session data and student progress to facilitate informative IEP consultations.

• Create comprehensive, goal-driven progress reports for each reporting period.

• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Valid SLP license in Arizona.

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a school setting conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY), with a preference for candidates with 2+ years for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and the ability to write detailed evaluation reports.

• Experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Excellent communication abilities and the capability to establish rapport with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficient in using virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

• Must be available during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual skills are seen as a valuable asset.
