This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Facilitate student-focused, IEP-compliant virtual speech therapy sessions.
• Carry out in-depth speech-language assessments using Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide focused case management for “Speech Only” students as needed.
• Methodically track session data and student progress to provide valuable IEP consultations.
• Create comprehensive, goal-driven progress reports for each reporting period.
• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active SLP license in Alabama.
• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience in conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY). A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for case management roles.
• Proven proficiency in the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and composing extensive evaluation reports.
• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.
• Outstanding communication skills and the capacity to foster relationships with students from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Technologically adept with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Availability during regular school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).
• Multilingual abilities are regarded as a significant advantage.
