Virtual SLP, California K-12 Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Foster innovation and enthusiasm in the online learning setting

• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning and relationships

• Assess speech and language proficiency levels

• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs

• Keep records of sessions and track progress towards IEP objectives

• Collaborate with school or district staff to share student progress information

• Provide virtual speech-language services to K-12 learners

• Adhere to the school district's calendar and fulfill responsibilities for the 2026-27 academic year

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a valid California SLP license from the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, or a Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)

• Completion of a Live Scan Fingerprint with Fullmind

• Must maintain good standing with no disciplinary actions on any held license

• Experience using telehealth platforms for assessments and therapy delivery in a school/IEP environment

• Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace

• Understanding of IDEA and California special education laws/Ed Code requirements

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting with classroom teachers, case managers, and families

• Must have authorization to work in the United States
