This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough psycho-educational evaluations to assess students’ academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

• Offer both direct and indirect psychological services, including intervention, counseling, and consultation, aimed at supporting students with IEPs.

• Assist in the creation, implementation, and monitoring of IEP goals focused on social, emotional, and behavioral development.

• Work collaboratively as a key member of multidisciplinary teams throughout the evaluation and service delivery processes.

• Provide psychological services to students across the nation as part of Parallel’s care platform for learning and thinking differences.

⛳️ Requirements

• An EdS degree (or equivalent) in school psychology from a NASP-approved program.

• A valid VA state license or certification as a school psychologist.

• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred but not mandatory.

• At least 1 year of full-time, on-site experience as a school psychologist, excluding practicum and internship periods.

• Demonstrated proficiency in all NASP domains of practice.

• Proven track record of conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations of students’ academic, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

• Experience in providing direct psychological services, including intervention and counseling, within an MTSS service delivery framework.

• Effective consultation experience with educators and families.

• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage with children from various ages, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Experience delivering telehealth services via virtual meeting platforms.

• A private workspace equipped with a reliable computer, webcam, and secure internet connection.

• Availability during traditional school hours, specifically from 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
