Virtual School Occupational Therapist, Minnesota License or OT Compact

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide captivating and high-quality occupational therapy instruction in a virtual classroom setting.

• Establish rapport and momentum similar to that of an in-person therapist.

• Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and functional skills.

• Convert evaluation results into clear and actionable goals.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each student's IEP.

• Record session details and monitor progress towards IEP objectives.

• Collaborate with school-based personnel, including teachers, case managers, and administrators, to ensure alignment on student progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited institution.

• Minnesota OT license from the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice, or an OT Compact privilege from Indiana, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.

• Familiarity and proficiency with telepractice platforms for delivering assessments and therapy in a school/IEP context.

• Dependable, FERPA-compliant home office equipped with a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free environment.

• Excellent skills in remote collaboration.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
