Virtual Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform initial telehealth visits, including Evaluation and Management (E/M) or Annual Wellness Visits, to determine the medical necessity for care navigation services.

• Recognize high-risk conditions and unmet social determinants of health.

• Record observations in Baba’s platform, ensuring precise coding, SDOH Z-codes, diagnoses, and risk factors are included.

• Create and approve personalized care plans that align with patients’ medical treatment strategies.

• Confirm ongoing medical necessity through thorough documentation.

• Collaborate with advocates and the clinical operations team to enroll patients into the appropriate level of support in a safe, compliant, and compassionate manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. with a valid and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

• Extensive multistate licensure is strongly preferred.

• Participation in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) or coverage across 50 states is desirable.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care, telehealth, or care management is required.

• Knowledge of Medicare programs, including care navigation, incident-to requirements, and SDOH documentation.

• Competence in using EMRs, care management software, and telehealth processes.

• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is preferred.

• Bilingual skills are an advantage.

• Legal permission to work in the United States is necessary.
