Virtual Design Construction Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Develop deliverable packages based on guidance from team members.

• Efficiently navigate systems and utilize tools.

• Investigate tool capabilities and utilize mentorship along with available resources.

• Enhance methods and efficiency through teamwork.

• Adjust models, data, and drawing packages as necessary.

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external teams.

• Implement model and scope modifications into deliverables.

• Record and archive revisions in accordance with established procedures.

• Adhere to project workflows and standards to fulfill deliverable requirements and timelines.

• Conduct self-assessments and rectify errors or inconsistencies.

• Participate in peer reviews to ensure compliance with standards.

• Execute advanced design tasks under supervision.

• Propose enhancements to tools and processes.

• Collaborate with manufacturing and construction teams to provide design that is feasible for construction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or an applicable associate degree (A.A., A.S.) from a recognized two-year community or technical college is required.

• Preferred 1-2 years of experience in virtual design, construction, or a related technical field.

• A combination of relevant education and practical experience may be considered as a substitute for formal educational requirements.

• Foundational experience with virtual modeling software, construction documentation, or technical design applications is necessary.

• Capability to create models and/or drawing packages adhering to established standards.

• Travel is required, not to exceed 15% of the time.

• Must be able to perform essential duties effectively.

• Proficient in communication via virtual and in-person collaboration tools.
