Virtual Design Construction Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Develop deliverable sets by effectively navigating systems and utilizing tools based on guidance from others.

• Acquire knowledge of tool functionalities through research, mentorship, and available resources.

• Enhance methods and efficiency through collaboration with colleagues.

• Adjust models, data, or drawing sets following instructions from others.

• Engage with both internal and external teams using virtual and in-person collaboration tools.

• Implement model and scope modifications by altering deliverables as necessary.

• Record and archive revisions in accordance with established protocols.

• Adhere to project workflows and agreed-upon standards to fulfill deliverable requirements and timelines.

• Conduct self-checks to identify and rectify significant errors and deviations from best practices.

• Assist in reviewing peers' work to ensure compliance with established standards.

• Independently execute advanced design tasks under guidance.

• Offer suggestions for continuous improvement of tools and processes.

• Collaborate directly with manufacturing and construction teams to deliver designs that are practical for construction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or an equivalent associate degree (A.A., A.S.) from a two-year community college or technical college is mandatory.

• Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in virtual design, construction, or a related technical field are preferred.

• A combination of relevant education and practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal educational qualifications.

• Foundational experience with virtual modeling software, construction documentation, or technical design applications that facilitate virtual design and construction processes is necessary.

• Travel will be necessary and may vary based on business requirements; travel should not exceed 15%.

• Capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Proficient in effective communication using both virtual and in-person collaboration tools.
