Virtual Clinical Trial Navigator – Medical Doctor, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Deliver personalized support to patients and their families who are exploring clinical trial options.

• Aid in locating trials, assisting patients in finding appropriate studies based on their medical history, diagnosis, and geographical location.

• Provide answers to inquiries related to trial participation, including eligibility criteria, safety concerns, travel logistics, expenses, and potential risks.

• Designate a primary contact for clinical trial enrollment across various sites.

• Enhance communication between patients and research teams, ensuring seamless interactions with study coordinators.

• Supply educational resources and information to help participants comprehend the trial process and make well-informed choices.

• Advocate for the needs of patients, ensuring they receive optimal support throughout their clinical trial experience.

• Transition to a more managerial role as the team of Trial Navigators expands over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a medical license as a Doctor (MD) and be based in the Philippines.

• Clinical experience in areas such as patient care, oncology, research, or trial navigation is strongly preferred.

• A solid understanding of clinical trials, research protocols, and eligibility requirements is essential.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to offer medical advice to patients and their families.

• Background in clinical research, patient advocacy, or case management is advantageous.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and standards for patient confidentiality is necessary.

• Must be able to work remotely with a reliable internet connection and an appropriate professional setup.

• Willingness to work part-time with overlapping hours in U.S. time zones.
