Virtual Case Manager – Special Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the main relationship manager for a group of families — fostering trust, addressing inquiries, and serving as their primary point of contact.

• Perform intake calls with new families, clearly and confidently setting expectations.

• Develop and oversee class schedules for various students, teachers, and platforms.

• Proactively communicate with families regarding scheduling, student progress, and any concerns through phone, video, and written communication.

• Track student progress and alert the appropriate specialist about any issues.

• Collaborate with instructors to ensure that sessions proceed without any hitches.

• Efficiently navigate various software systems daily (scheduling platforms, spreadsheets, video conferencing, CRM/case management tools) seamlessly.

• Professionally represent Tutor Me Education in every interaction — you often serve as the face of the company to our families.

• Provide basic oversight for IEP/504 accommodation compliance (comprehensive training will be provided — extensive SPED knowledge is not necessary).

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills — mandatory, and will be thoroughly evaluated during the interview process.

• Dependable high-speed internet, a functional webcam, and a headset/microphone for virtual meetings.

• Willingness to learn and utilize multiple software platforms (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office required; training on scheduling and CRM tools will be provided).

• Previous experience in a remote/virtual role is highly preferred.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Experience in customer service, account management, or client-facing roles is preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• **Some experience in an educational environment is required** (school, tutoring, or similar) — experience with special education, IEPs, or working with students with disabilities is strongly preferred.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
