This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +11 more states.
• Provide patient care services utilizing a remote technology platform
• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care independently for patients aged 18 months and older
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage various health issues
• Offer health counseling and develop disposition plans
• Educate patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices
• Assess patients in primary care, acute care, chronic conditions, and transitional care
• Deliver counseling on contraceptive care and manage medications
• Inform patients about health maintenance and address their inquiries regarding care
• Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions in an EHR as per MinuteClinic policies and procedures
• Collaborate on patient care with both internal and external colleagues, including the wider patient-centered medical home
• Function within a patient care team alongside Providers, Collaborative Physicians, paraprofessionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Operate independently, prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, take initiative, and advocate for both patients and the practice
• Active license in one of the following states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, or Washington
• At least two years of relevant medical experience or its equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication abilities
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks
• Initiative and problem-solving skills, along with adaptability and flexibility
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
• Proficiency in information management and technology
• Skill in collaborating with professional colleagues to ensure quality care
• Depending on the market, proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, may be required
• Completion of a Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification
• State-issued license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
• Reliable broadband connectivity, a quiet environment with a neutral background, and the ability to maintain patient privacy for remote care delivery
• Availability to work a full-time overnight shift from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
