Virtual Behavior Technician, RBT – ABA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide personalized, engaging virtual behavior support and academic coaching that aligns with each student's behavioral objectives, accommodations, and distinct learning profile.

• Execute structured behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA, concentrating on skill development, emotional regulation, and minimizing challenging behaviors that hinder learning.

• Modify instruction and reinforcement in real-time based on student focus, engagement, and emotional regulation, employing innovative digital rewards and interactive tools to sustain progress.

• Meticulously monitor behavior data during sessions and communicate effectively with families, supervising BCBAs, and, where applicable, school district partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active **Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)** certification through the BACB is preferred, or equivalent experience/education in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, or Special Education.

• Experience working one-on-one with individuals on the Autism Spectrum or those with developmental and behavioral challenges.

• Comfortable coaching or collaborating with parents or guardians via video to assist with environmental modifications and physical prompting when necessary.

• **Capability to design and deliver lesson plans** that are in line with student goals and accommodations.

• **Strong virtual instruction capabilities** — proficiency with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.

• **Ability to successfully pass a background check.**

• **Access to a reliable computer, internet, webcam, and a quiet workspace.**

• **Preferred (not mandatory):**

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
