Virtual Autism Spectrum Disorder Educator, MI Certified

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction and assist students in completing their courses.

• Utilize the educator portal to choose job opportunities.

• Educate using the school’s curriculum on the district's online platform.

• Create lesson plans that align with the curriculum of the class.

• Inspire creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.

• Support and enhance student learning through intentional, relationship-building strategies.

• Monitor and record student grades and academic performance.

• Participate in district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.

• Collaborate with the in-class facilitator present with students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Endorsement in Student with Disabilities, specifically for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must possess a valid, active teaching certification issued by a USA state.

• At least 3 years of experience as a professional educator.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

• Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and stable internet connection.

• Willingness to engage in a virtual skills teaching demonstration.

• Background check submission is required as part of the application procedure.

• Previous experience in online teaching is advantageous.
