Virtual Adult Primary Clinical Therapist – Evening

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conducting initial intake evaluations to ascertain diagnosis and suitability for the program

• Implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with other evidence-based therapeutic approaches

• Managing the initial and ongoing insurance requirements of patients

• Meeting individually with patients to evaluate progress and direct treatment planning

• Collaborating with patients’ individual providers to guarantee continuity of care

• Evaluating patients’ progress and determining the necessity for a higher level of care or discharge

• Communicating with patients' family members or support systems when appropriate

• Documenting in our electronic medical records system

• Participating in crisis management

• Facilitating group therapy sessions as needed

• Performing additional duties as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Psychologist or a Master’s level therapist with clinical experience in conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy

• Independent clinical licensure is strongly preferred

• Possess knowledge and experience in group dynamics using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside other evidence-based therapies

• Have experience dealing with patients in crisis situations

• Previous experience in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential settings is required
