Views Editor – Gaming

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop content that forges meaningful connections with consumers, gauged by high engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments, shares, and retention.

• Act as an algorithm-savvy editor with extensive knowledge in hooks, pacing, structure, and retention across social media platforms — taking charge of the DJ-ing, remixing, and optimization of content to enhance scalable performance.

• Assume primary responsibility for performance tuning and platform success, consistently refining creative elements to achieve improved results.

• Edit and compile raw footage into refined final videos, ensuring assets are optimized for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube — with a performance-driven creative approach rather than focusing solely on post-production.

• Keep abreast of platform algorithms, emerging formats, creator trends, and editing techniques to maintain content that is fresh, relevant, and competitive within feeds.

• Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions and actively engage in the ideation process, acknowledging that the essence of the role lies in effective execution and iteration.

• Collaborate efficiently with colleagues and cross-functional teams on urgent requests and tight deadlines.

• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions, kickoffs, and team meetings, offering valuable ideas and assisting in shaping performance-focused strategies.

• Mentor Creators and, in some instances, Art Directors and Copywriters across the agency — following the guidance of your A/CD to promote best practices in ideation, execution, and performance enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional creative experience, showcasing a genuine passion for producing social content across various platforms — well-informed about trends in culture, entertainment, music, films, and particularly gaming.

• A passion for games and an understanding of what resonates with audiences. Familiarity with gameplay meta, loadouts, strategies, game terminology, character lore, and consumption of creator content and esports highlights and commentaries.

• Knowledge of formats, platforms, and their respective audiences. Understanding the differences between TikTok and YouTube.

• Proven experience as a video editor, ideally within advertising, digital media, or a related field.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

• Exceptional content creation abilities with the capacity to oversee projects from inception to completion, including video and motion design.

• Strong comprehension of social platform best practices and performance metrics.

• Responsible, accountable, and a proactive self-starter who exhibits initiative.

• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and nurture positive team dynamics.
