Video/Motion Graphics Editor – Beauty, Wellness, Fashion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Edit long-form videos for YouTube and podcasts, ensuring a polished and high-quality output.

• Trim down long-form recordings into short-form clips suitable for LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

• Produce engaging trailers and highlight reels to promote content across various platforms.

• Incorporate captions, graphics, and motion elements to enhance retention and shareability.

• Establish repeatable workflows to efficiently scale video content production.

• Collaborate closely with me to cultivate content that resonates with advertisers, founders, and marketers.

• Keep abreast of social media and YouTube video trends to ensure content remains fresh and competitive.

• You will edit two batches of 8 to 12 videos, each ranging from 30 to 60 seconds, per month from the footage provided.

• Provide timely project updates and seek feedback throughout the design process.

• Organize and archive creative work for easy access and reuse in other projects.

• Carry out additional marketing and operations tasks as required to support the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of video editing experience (in brand, agency, or freelance roles).

• A portfolio that demonstrates a strong focus on ecommerce and consumer sectors (beauty, wellness, and fashion).

• Experience collaborating with UK (preferred) or US ecommerce brands.

• A robust portfolio showcasing videos created for paid advertising on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects for both video editing and motion graphics creation.

• Competence in Adobe software for basic static image design.

• Experience utilizing AI tools such as Sora and Adobe AI to support video and motion graphics work.

• Familiarity with AI tools like V03, 11 Labs, and Arc Ads.

• Knowledge of Instagram and TikTok formats, with an understanding of pacing, hooks, and storytelling techniques.

• Skills in motion graphics and thumbnail design are highly advantageous.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently without compromising quality.

• Proven track record as an individual contributor with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English at a C-level standard.

• Ability to work full-time with hours aligned to the UK timezone.
