Video Education Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the Softr Academy: Create and manage our video library and curriculum, crafting learning paths that guide users from beginner to advanced, database-driven app development.

• Develop and produce technical tutorials: Author scripts and create consistent, high-quality video content that covers Softr essentials, no-code database design, integrations, and real-world customer case study walkthroughs.

• Serve as the face of Softr education: Represent Softr in demonstrations, tutorials, and educational materials, establishing trust with users as a knowledgeable technical advisor rather than just a presenter.

• Create progressive learning experiences: Design a comprehensive suite of guided courses and segments tailored to the user's stage in their Softr journey, from novice builder to expert.

• Facilitate live educational sessions: Organize and conduct workshops with partners and customers that focus on diving deeper into technical, database-driven use cases.

• Collaborate across departments: Partner with Product to stay informed about new features and with Support to identify the topics and gaps that users need clarified.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in technical no-code concepts: You possess a deep understanding of building with no-code tools, relational databases, logic, workflows, and integrations, going beyond just the basic user interface.

• Experience in video production: At least 3 years of experience in instructional design, scripting, and video production, preferably within a SaaS or product-led organization.

• Comfortable on camera: You exude confidence and ease in front of the camera, serving as a front-facing representative of the brand.

• Effective communicator: You can simplify complex, database-driven ideas into clear, digestible language — both in writing and spoken English.

• Experience hosting workshops: You’ve organized and led online workshops or webinars and understand what constitutes a well-executed live session.

• Curriculum design mindset: You think in terms of learning journeys and progressions rather than isolated videos.

• Self-motivated: You can independently manage a content library with minimal supervision and possess a proactive, results-oriented attitude.

• Genuine enthusiasm for no-code: You are inspired by the possibilities that no-code and AI-native tools provide, and you want users to share in that excitement.
