This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Edit 12β16 short-form educational videos each month (15β90 seconds) utilizing self-shot footage from creators for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
β’ Produce 8β15 variations of paid ads monthly for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube: focusing on hooks, driving conversions, and designed for testing purposes.
β’ Transform UGC submissions from actual customers and paid UGC creators into refined short-form content that retains a native and authentic feel (avoiding over-production).
β’ Strategically employ AI tools to accelerate production (including auto-captioning, transcript-based editing, B-roll generation, and voice enhancement) while ensuring accuracy and compliance are not compromised by AI shortcuts.
β’ Consistently adhere to LumiMeds brand standards: including fonts, color schemes, logo placement, end cards, and disclosure formatting.
β’ Apply feedback from compliance reviewers during cuts and revisions, occasionally over multiple rounds.
β’ Keep project files organized and maintain an archive of raw footage, approved B-roll, finalized cuts, and ad variant trees.
β’ Remain updated on effective strategies for Reels, TikTok, and paid social media within the health and wellness sector.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience editing short-form vertical videos for social media, with a portfolio showcasing recent work required.
β’ Proven experience in editing paid social ads (for Meta, TikTok, or YouTube) rather than just organic content. You possess an understanding of hook-led structures, retention curves, and the distinctions between ad creative and organic content.
β’ Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut Pro.
β’ Familiarity with AI editing tools: including Descript or similar transcript-based editing, AI captioning (such as CapCut, Submagic, Opus Clip), and AI audio enhancement (like Adobe Enhance, Auphonic).
β’ Ability to edit UGC effectively: transforming imperfect, multi-source footage into cohesive content while preserving the authenticity that enhances UGC performance.
β’ Advanced captioning skills that exceed basic auto-generated captions: ensuring accuracy, proper timing, styling, and readability on mute.
β’ A genuine understanding of what makes short-form content effective: including pacing, hooks, retention strategies, knowing when to cut, and when to allow moments to breathe.
β’ Openness to learning the fundamentals of FDA marketing compliance as they relate to compounded medications and paid health advertising (training will be provided).
β’ You are welcome to use your own software. We will fund any LumiMeds-specific tools, plugins, or subscriptions for AI tools.
