Junior/Mid Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Edit portrait-format (9:16) video advertisements for Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Moloco, and Unity under the guidance of the Senior Video Editor.

• Execute end-to-end briefs: cutting, captioning, sound design, and exporting according to channel specifications at a rapid pace.

• Create hook variations and execute quick iterations on a weekly basis — this role emphasizes a volume-first, performance-driven creative workflow.

• Incorporate AI tools into the editing process for voiceover, timing, and asset creation (such as ElevenLabs and similar technologies).

• Ensure organized project files and exports within shared asset libraries.

• Welcome feedback and implement it swiftly — the senior editor will mentor this individual; being coachable is essential to the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in editing social-first video. Backgrounds in traditional long-form, corporate, or TV commercials may not be suitable for this position.

• A portfolio or reel showcasing portrait-format (9:16) content for Meta and/or TikTok — preference is given to paid social ads over organic content.

• Strong fundamentals in Premiere Pro: cutting rhythm, captions, sound mixing, and basic motion graphics.

• Familiarity with AI tools in a video editing workflow (such as ElevenLabs, Runway, CapCut AI features, or similar applications).

• Social-native instincts: understands hooks, audience retention, and what drives performance in short-form advertisements.

• Proficient written English to facilitate asynchronous collaboration with the UK team.
