This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Transform raw footage into polished, cinematic, and engaging video content tailored for social media, paid advertising, OTT/streaming platforms, and branded campaigns.
• Create compelling pacing, storytelling frameworks, sound design, motion graphics, transitions, and color grading to enhance the final product.
• Work closely with creative stakeholders while also providing original ideas and suggestions.
• Keep abreast of video trends, platform best practices, and emerging creative styles to consistently enhance content performance.
• Export and optimize video content across various formats and aspect ratios, including 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1.
• Professionally and efficiently manage multiple rounds of revisions.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to high-quality standards for audio, color consistency, branding, pacing, and overall refinement.
• Clearly articulate creative decisions and effectively incorporate feedback.
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently in a dynamic production environment.
• Keep project files, templates, assets, b-roll libraries, and backup systems organized.
• Work independently with a strong sense of accountability and time management in a fully remote setting.
• Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, efficiency, and creative output.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional video editing experience, ideally in an agency, media company, or high-volume creative setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience in color grading and audio mixing; proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
• Strong grasp of pacing, storytelling, motion graphics, and direct-response creative techniques.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while upholding high-quality standards.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management capabilities.
• A self-motivated mindset with the capacity to work both independently and in collaboration with others.
• Willingness to learn and apply emerging Generative AI tools and workflows within the creative process.
• A portfolio or demo reel that showcases a diverse range of editing styles, including social content, paid advertising, commercials, and brand storytelling.
