Video Editor, Real Estate Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit and compile high-volume real estate video content utilizing Final Cut Pro, DaVinci, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects.

• Conduct colour correction, grading, exposure balancing, white balance, and contrast adjustments.

• Stabilize footage, rectify shaky shots, and modify framing as needed.

• Employ tracks, layers, masks, non-destructive workflows, multi-cam syncing, and drone/aerial integration.

• Create and animate motion graphics, including location markers, property site outlines, lower thirds, titles, transitions, and logo stings.

• Synchronize footage with music and voiceovers while managing pacing and rhythm.

• Generate social media content from larger video projects.

• Execute minor edits on expansive video assignments.

• Adhere to editing templates, style guidelines, and studio standards.

• Ensure proper file handling, naming, folder structures, export specifications, version control, and delivery processes.

• Safeguard client materials and uphold confidentiality.

• Detect missing, corrupted, or unusual files and communicate issues promptly.

• Upload completed videos to the company's Vimeo platform.

• Produce animated property site outlines, title sequences, lower thirds, and end cards using After Effects and Illustrator or DaVinci Fusion.

• Review spelling, alignment, timing, brand colours, and animation presentation, making necessary revisions.

• Conduct final quality-control checks before submission.

• Follow written instructions, job notes, examples, and feedback diligently.

• Manage priorities effectively and escalate deadline risks early.

• Engage in technical strategy and consulting meetings.

• Participate in daily morning check-ins with the Australian team.

• Primarily focus on producing residential and commercial real estate videos, along with interviews, testimonials, corporate functions, and social media content.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3+ years of professional video editing experience in a commercial or production setting.

• Strong practical expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro, inclusive of colour correction, audio syncing, multi-cam editing, trimming, transitions, and footage clean-up.

• Solid working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, site outlines, motion tracking of aerial footage, animated titles, lower thirds, and template-based design tasks.

• Experience with AI-assisted editing or generative tools such as Adobe Firefly and Premiere's AI features is highly desirable.

• Excellent visual judgement regarding pacing, colour, composition, consistency, realism, and overall video presentation.

• Capability to manage high-volume video production.

• Strong file management skills and adherence to production discipline.

• Ability to follow detailed editing instructions, job briefs, mark-ups, and established production standards accurately.

• Meticulous attention to detail while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency.

• Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage daily workloads, and meet production deadlines.

• Reliable computer equipment and stable internet connection capable of handling large image files and remote production tasks.

• Willingness to adhere to Australian business/production requirements and quality standards.

• Comfortable collaborating as part of a pioneering production team in the Philippines.

• Must possess own working equipment.

• Experience with multi-asset production workflows and understanding of post-production pipelines and delivery schedules.

• Portfolio showcasing relevant real estate and/or architectural video editing work.

• Strong experience with Final Cut Pro is preferred.

• Familiarity with editing Australian-market videos and Australian property presentation standards is advantageous.

• Experience in editing real estate/property video is advantageous.

• Experience with drone and aerial photography is advantageous.

• Experience with helicopter/aerial photography is advantageous.

• Experience with architectural video production is advantageous.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to enhance video editing and production workflows is advantageous.
