Video Editor – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategy and execution of content, encompassing ideation, scripting, batch production, editing, and repurposing.

• Oversee the video production workflow and deliverables, including edits, series episodes, and brand assets.

• Produce, edit, and manage a high volume of short-form videos while maintaining production trackers.

• Edit multi-episode series and establish an episode buffer ahead of schedule.

• Prepare pitch materials and assist in the negotiation and management of brand deals and collaborations.

• Provide guidance on selective sponsorships that align with the brand.

• Monitor action items and follow up on brand deals and collaborations until completion.

• Create high-quality applications, presentations, sales follow-ups, and coaching materials.

• Oversee and optimize the ManyChat funnel and qualify incoming leads.

• Maintain Typeform forms and quizzes that facilitate lead intake.

• Draft public relations outreach, assess publicist targets, coordinate PR opportunities, and follow up as needed.

• Develop and maintain dashboards to track followers, KPIs, applicant progress, and content performance.

• Manage automation and data cleaning across Google Sheets and LinkMe.

• Research and assess platforms and tools, offering recommendations for the best fit.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new systems and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in editing high-volume short-form video using CapCut.

• Background as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable support role for a creator, coach, or small business.

• Proficient in Canva, Google Sheets, and ManyChat or similar funnel and chatbot tools.

• Experience in social media content planning and following up on brand deals or partnerships.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills, with comfort in communicating via WhatsApp.

• Computer equipped with at least 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or better.

• Internet connection with a minimum speed of 40MBPS.

• Headset featuring an extended noise-cancelling microphone and a webcam.

• Access to a backup computer and internet connection.

• A quiet and dedicated workspace at home.

• A dependable internet connection.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET.
