Video Editor, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Edit voice-over recordings to ensure a seamless and natural flow.

• Create high-quality video edits that meet project standards.

• Conduct research and source appropriate footage.

• Implement color grading and correction as necessary.

• Integrate sound design for key moments within the video.

• Stylize and optimize assets to align with the visual language of each production.

• Incorporate external sources into the video edit.

• Optional: Contribute to original music composition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Creative Cloud suite.

• A strong aesthetic sense and capabilities in visual storytelling.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within a remote team.

• A genuine enthusiasm for documentary and educational content.

• Familiarity with fern, Simplicissimus, or similar documentary-focused channels.

• Proficiency in both German and English.
