Video Editor – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Create and refine audio-visual materials for brand activation and fan engagement initiatives across diverse digital platforms in accordance with project briefs.

• Skillfully edit, splice, and synchronize raw footage (primarily showcasing football players, teams, statistics, and related content), integrating audio effects, music, and motion graphics to convert each video into a captivating piece of content.

• Partner with internal teams to brainstorm video concepts, interpret briefs, and translate strategic goals into engaging visual stories.

• Ensure timely delivery of assets that meet specifications while upholding consistency and meticulous attention to detail—including, but not limited to, brand applications, copy (player/team names, scores, country flags, etc.), and the timing of transitions.

• Modify and localize video content for regional markets as required, showcasing cultural awareness and sensitivity.

• Keep abreast of emerging video trends, platform updates, and editing techniques to guarantee content consistently captivates audiences and enhances view retention.

• Organize and manage video assets, encompassing raw footage, project files, and final exports, ensuring efficient archiving and accessibility for future utilization.

• Highly creative mindset with exceptional video editing and post-production capabilities.

• Advanced expertise in industry-standard design and video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X.

• Advanced motion graphics skills are highly advantageous.

• Strong comprehension of branded content and football video production, with an eye for what resonates with sports audiences.

• Capacity to manage a high volume of assets in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting, with a 'can-do' team-player attitude.

• A genuine passion for or knowledge of sports, especially football, is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI-driven tools (e.g., generative AI, editing, or ideation platforms) to aid creative development is beneficial.
