Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit and finalize impactful short-form and long-form video content, ensuring strong pacing, motion graphics, sound design, and brand alignment.

• Oversee daily editing operations, including project assignments, quality assurance, feedback, and adherence to delivery schedules.

• Design, implement, and enhance AI-assisted production workflows utilizing generative video, image, and audio technologies.

• Create and sustain prompt libraries, templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and repeatable systems to boost production efficiency and quality.

• Mentor and nurture junior editors through coaching, creative guidance, and continuous feedback.

• Collaborate with marketing and creative leadership to achieve a cohesive visual style that aligns with business goals.

• Manage freelance editors and external creative collaborators as necessary.

• Stay informed about emerging AI tools and trends, identifying opportunities to enhance output and workflow efficiency.

• Promote ongoing improvement in editing standards, production systems, and creative workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional video editing experience, including senior-level or leadership roles.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, along with experience in After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.

• Strong visual design acumen with a keen eye for composition, typography, motion, and narrative development.

• Practical experience utilizing generative AI tools like Runway, Midjourney, Firefly, HeyGen, Kling, Veo, Seedance, or comparable platforms.

• Proven track record in creating workflows and systems that enhance creative efficiency and output.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, or managing editing teams.

• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across various teams.

• Experience in producing content for both organic and paid marketing channels.

• Competent in prompt engineering and practical AI application experience.

• Familiarity with sound design and color grading techniques.
