Video Editing, Social Media Virtual Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Edit both short-form and long-form video content for various social media platforms.

• Incorporate captions, transitions, music, graphics, and basic motion effects as required.

• Trim and format videos to comply with platform-specific specifications.

• Ensure all content is consistent with the company's branding and style guidelines.

• Export videos in the suitable formats for each platform.

• Schedule and publish content across the company’s social media channels.

• Maintain the content calendar to ensure regular posting.

• Upload videos, captions, hashtags, and other media assets.

• Organize content files and uphold a well-structured media library.

• Monitor scheduled posts to guarantee successful publishing.

• Keep organized folders for videos, graphics, and marketing materials.

• Coordinate content delivery with the business owner or marketing team.

• Assist with basic content planning and scheduling tasks.

• Track completed, scheduled, and upcoming content.

• Maintain posting schedules and content trackers.

• Aid in basic reporting on published content.

• Perform other administrative duties related to content management as assigned.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Capability to meet deadlines while managing multiple content pieces.

• Good written English skills for reviewing captions and post descriptions.

• Ability to work independently and adhere to established content guidelines.

• Reliable internet connection and a computer suitable for video editing.

• Experience in editing content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn (preferred).

• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (preferred).

• Basic understanding of social media best practices (preferred).

• Experience in creating captions and formatting posts (preferred).

• Basic graphic design skills using Canva are advantageous (preferred).
