Vice President, Technology – Digital Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a multi-year enterprise technology strategy that aligns with the organization's priorities.

• Provide strategic advice to executive leadership regarding technology investments, risks, innovation opportunities, and emerging trends.

• Establish governance frameworks, architectural standards, prioritization practices, and an enterprise roadmap for technology.

• Direct Shatterproof's enterprise AI strategy, including governance, use-case prioritization, pilot programs, implementation, adoption, training, and change management.

• Oversee IT and workplace technology operations for a distributed workforce, which includes service providers, help desk support, devices, Microsoft 365, identity and access management, collaboration tools, and application administration.

• Spearhead the cybersecurity strategy, including privacy controls, risk assessments, incident response, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

• Manage strategies related to website, digital engagement, fundraising, advocacy, analytics, and related vendor relationships.

• Own the enterprise Salesforce roadmap, governance, administration, security, data quality, integrations, reporting, releases, support, and user adoption.

• Establish organization-wide data governance, reporting standards, dashboards, data models, Power BI capabilities, and promote data-informed decision-making.

• Oversee the Treatment Atlas infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, releases, integrations, data flows, product and technical roadmaps, architecture, cloud strategy, security, and partnerships with implementation vendors.

• Manage technology budgets, forecasts, investment plans, purchasing, contracts, renewals, licensing, vendor relationships, and implementation partners.

• Supervise Just5 and manage the LegitScript relationship, including certifications, submissions, renewals, and organizational obligations.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary technology and digital operations team.

• Create clarity around roles, decision-making rights, service ownership, priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Communicate complex technology issues in an accessible, business-focused manner and lead change initiatives transparently.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, digital operations, enterprise systems, product management, data management, cybersecurity, or related fields.

• Experience acting as the senior technology leader for a complex organization and developing enterprise technology strategies and roadmaps.

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and enhance organizational capabilities.

• Strong expertise in cybersecurity, technology governance, privacy-supporting controls, risk management, and organizational resilience.

• Experience in leading CRM, data, analytics, digital platforms, enterprise applications, and significant technology implementations.

• Proficient in overseeing technology budgets, contracts, licensing, vendor relationships, and partnerships with implementation vendors.

• Experience in introducing and scaling AI-enabled solutions, including governance, adoption, and training.

• Capability to translate organizational needs into actionable technology priorities, investments, and execution plans.

• Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a mission-driven, distributed, and evolving environment.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.

• Strong alignment with Shatterproof's mission and values.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Availability to work Eastern Time Zone hours is required.
