Vice President – Solutions, Financial Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee Workiva’s global strategy for the Financial Services sector, encompassing Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management.

• Create and implement quarterly, annual, and multi-year business strategies that align with corporate objectives, vertical opportunities, revenue targets, and customer success.

• Establish and maintain a solution roadmap tailored to the vertical in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Marketing, ensuring it meets the specific needs of financial services customers.

• Ensure that business KPIs specific to the vertical are defined, tracked, and utilized to enhance performance and guide decision-making.

• Act as the market-facing executive for the Financial Services sector, frequently interacting with global clients, partners, and advisory firms to identify emerging requirements and develop value-driven solutions.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with C-level executives, particularly within the Office of the CFO and Business Transformation departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Financial Services, with a notable impact in recent management consulting, technology consulting, general manager, or similar roles within Enterprise B2B SaaS.

• Extensive, proven expertise across the Banking, Insurance, and Asset Management sectors.

• Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, EBA, ESMA, Basel III, Solvency II, CSRD) and financial services-specific solution areas (regulatory reporting, risk management, RegTech, and sustainability compliance).

• Demonstrated success in building, leading, and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for a B2B enterprise technology organization, specifically within the Financial Services sector.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Advisory and Technology partners serving the Financial Services ecosystem and the Office of the CFO.

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or a related discipline is required.
