This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the business vertical within the Property Team, fostering client relationships and driving growth in this sector.
• Supervise and mentor business development executives and support daily communication with clients and prospects.
• Propel new business sponsorship sales for an expanding roster of PIVOT property clients in Tennis, Pickleball, and other properties represented by PIVOT.
• Utilize existing contacts and national corporate partnerships to generate additional revenue opportunities for PIVOT’s racket sports clients.
• Facilitate cross-selling among clients across various PIVOT properties (esports, naming rights, etc.), brands, hospitality, and other sectors.
• Conduct sales presentations to potential clients, including both in-person meetings and phone discussions.
• Spearhead outbound sales initiatives to effectively generate and nurture opportunities for property clients.
• Manage your own portfolio of business, encompassing prospecting, lead generation, proposal creation, and closing deals.
• Directly oversee accounts and relationships, serving as the primary contact between PIVOT racket sports clients and the PIVOT sales team.
• Set a standard and lead by example within the property sales division, mentoring direct reports.
• Conduct all executive-level communications with both new and existing clients.
• Provide regular updates on business development objectives and new business outreach efforts.
• Assist PIVOT executive staff with special projects as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related fields.
• 5-7+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, marketing, and business development within tennis or other racket sports.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape.
• Established book of business and industry connections.
• A leader capable of motivating individuals and teams while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Adequate drive and resilience to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, technical environment and a rapidly changing industry.
• Strong understanding of networking platforms available within the sports management sector.
• Advanced negotiation capabilities.
• Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
• Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, and Google Suite.
