This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take charge of the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the Payments & Money Movement portfolio.
β’ Mentor, coach, and develop skilled product leaders and their respective teams.
β’ Manage immediate execution while simultaneously focusing on platform modernization and future growth.
β’ Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership to enhance and scale PayNearMe's transactional platform.
β’ Shape the future of Smart Switch and payment orchestration across various processors, rails, and payment methods.
β’ Generalize core platform functionalities to accommodate existing and future verticals without creating one-off solutions.
β’ Work in partnership with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to address operational needs as transaction volume and complexity increase.
β’ Drive product decisions that enhance reliability, payment performance, operational efficiency, and economic viability.
β’ Identify opportunities to increase the commercial value of PayNearMe's payments and money movement offerings.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Revenue teams to convert platform investments into quantifiable client and business outcomes.
β’ Act as a vital member of the Product Leadership Team, contributing to the overarching product strategy and operating model.
β’ Oversee payment capture, routing/orchestration, risk decisioning, compliance, disbursements, settlement, reconciliation, billing, pricing, and APIs/access capabilities.
β’ Enhance execution, accountability, scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, reusability, risk/compliance support, and commercial value throughout the portfolio.
β’ Over 12 years of product management experience, with substantial exposure to payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
β’ More than 7 years of progressive product leadership experience, including oversight of multiple product teams and senior product leaders.
β’ Extensive payments experience, showcasing a solid understanding of payment processing and money movement in areas such as gateways, acquiring, routing, card and ACH processing, settlement, reconciliation, or disbursements.
β’ Proven experience in scaling, modernizing, or transforming a complex, high-volume transaction platform.
β’ Background in leading products and teams through substantial growth, including increased transaction volume, expanded platform capabilities, entry into new markets, or support for new revenue streams.
β’ Strong history of collaboration with senior Engineering leaders on technically intricate platform investments and transformation projects.
β’ Demonstrated ability to balance the execution of a critical existing business with long-term platform investments and modernization efforts.
β’ Strong commercial acumen and business judgment, with experience linking product strategy and investment decisions to revenue growth, economics, and client value.
β’ Experience in cultivating strong product leaders and building teams that function with growing accountability and autonomy.
β’ Excellent executive communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate across Product, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Revenue leadership.
β’ Familiarity with multi-processor or multi-rail payment orchestration.
β’ Experience in payment optimization, routing, or gateway products.
β’ Knowledge of both pay-in and pay-out/disbursement capabilities.
β’ Background in payment risk, compliance, or financial controls.
β’ Experience working within regulated financial services environments.
β’ Proven track record of leading products through periods of significant scale or platform modernization.
