Vice President, Product Management – Agentic AI Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Define the Product Strategy: Transform emerging AI security threats, customer requirements, and research advancements into a focused roadmap for agentic AI security platforms.

• Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinate research, engineering, security, data, evaluation, runtime, trust and safety, legal, policy, and go-to-market teams around a definitive plan.

• Build Evaluation and Safety Platforms: Spearhead open evaluation harnesses, model and agent safety workflows, disclosure processes, and reliable reporting systems.

• Advance Secure Agent Runtime Architecture: Influence product direction for secure runtimes, enforcement layers, BlueField, OpenShell, NeMo Security, and related platform functionalities.

• Develop Defensive Agent Systems: Direct product strategy for defender swarms, ThreatOps workflows, cybersecurity expert agents, and enterprise-ready security automation.

• Partner Across the Ecosystem: Collaborate with strategic partners, including hyperscalers, security vendors, AI labs, and enterprise clients, to validate use cases and introduce solutions to market.

• Drive Narrative and Market Readiness: Work with developer relations, product marketing, communications, government affairs, and legal teams to craft the external narrative and facilitate adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in product management, cybersecurity, AI platforms, enterprise infrastructure, or similar technical leadership positions.

• 10+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility and influence across research, engineering, security, product, and go-to-market teams.

• Deep Cybersecurity Judgment: Expertise in vulnerability discovery, exploit chains, infrastructure-as-code, enterprise security operations, security automation, and incident response.

• Strong AI Product Instincts: Understanding of model evaluation, agent harnesses, secure runtimes, AI safety, and the limitations of traditional detection-first security.

• Strategic Execution: Capability to convert technical concepts into a practical product roadmap, architectural direction, partner strategy, and measurable results.

• Credibility with exceptional researchers, engineers, security operators, and executive stakeholders.

• Outstanding Communicator: Proficient in posing sharp technical inquiries and clearly articulating complex subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Academic Foundation: BS or equivalent experience required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
