Cloud Security Architecture Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define and oversee the comprehensive security architecture for global cloud and datacenter infrastructures.

• Ensure robust protection of critically vital AI workloads against sophisticated adversaries.

• Design resilient security frameworks for cloud infrastructure across both public and private GPU/AI environments.

• Implement network segmentation strategies utilizing SDN techniques to achieve multi-tenant isolation.

• Promote the adoption of Confidential Computing and hardware-rooted trust models for highly sensitive AI workloads.

• Develop layered encryption strategies to mitigate risks and comply with Zero Trust principles.

• Manage workload identity frameworks to eliminate static credentials and establish identity-based access controls.

• Lead security architecture initiatives in containerized and Kubernetes environments to ensure secure, scalable multi-tenant clusters.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of security architects and engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in security engineering or architecture roles.

• At least 8 years in senior leadership positions.

• Proficiency in designing security for both 'Security of the Cloud' and 'Security in the Cloud'.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud-native security architectures on major cloud platforms.

• Strong expertise in workload identity and zero-trust access methodologies.

• Proven experience in safeguarding containerized and Kubernetes environments on a large scale.

• BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
