This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and achieve the established P&L targets. Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control processes to ensure the financial health and profitability of the business unit (BU).
• Formulate and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives, aligning with company and Physician RCM division initiatives.
• Deliver regular financial and operational updates along with performance reports to the senior leadership team through Monthly Operating Reviews and other communication methods.
• Supervise daily RCM operations to guarantee that the BU operates smoothly and meets financial, customer, and employee engagement goals.
• Maintain internal performance reporting and dashboards while analyzing metrics, trends, and the competitive landscape to uncover growth and margin expansion opportunities.
• Create and execute operational processes aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving overall BU performance.
• Continuously pinpoint areas for process enhancements and opportunities to scale the business unit, implementing changes to boost overall performance.
• Collaborate with the Head of Physician RCM to manage BPO partnerships, ensuring that partner operations consistently meet established performance targets.
• Work alongside the Head of Physician RCM to consolidate and restructure business units into specialty verticals and transition services to Assembly Health’s preferred offshore partners.
• Attract, retain, and nurture a high-performing account management team.
• Cultivate a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the designated business unit.
• Identify and develop top talent along with next-level leaders.
• Partner with Human Resources to identify and implement employee engagement programs.
• Ensure customer service and satisfaction remain central to all business operations.
• Identify and implement programs aimed at mitigating customer churn risk.
• Assist the team in addressing and resolving customer issues and service gaps.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients to foster business growth.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to design and execute strategies that enhance brand awareness and attract new customers.
• Coordinate with the sales team to drive growth and provide expertise as needed.
• Offer additional support for sales opportunities, such as subject matter expertise, price modeling, margin analyses, contract review, and edits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in RCM or healthcare operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership or General Manager role.
• Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare reimbursement systems, payer policies, and revenue cycle KPIs.
• Proven history of managing P&L and reaching financial and operational targets.
• Familiarity with RCM platforms and automation tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational abilities.
• Adaptability to change and a willingness to learn new processes—we are Assemblers, after all!
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer, with the capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally.
