• Manage the Commercial segment within the Strategic Payer Partnerships team to ensure performance targets and objectives are achieved.
• Lead the assessment of potential health plan partnerships, including negotiating terms and reviewing, editing, and recommending approval of value-based care contracts for Commercial members/patients.
• Identify and pursue market growth and expansion opportunities for multi-year risk arrangements.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership to shape Aledade's approach to value-based contracting on behalf of independent primary care practices.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Lead, direct, and assess a team of senior leaders ranging from Manager to Sr. Director.
• Inspire, coach, and develop the team to ensure alignment of talent with company and team objectives.
• Cultivate a productive environment and culture that reflects Aledade’s core values.
• Oversee the evaluation of potential health plan network participation agreements, including negotiating terms and reviewing, editing, and recommending approval of participation agreements across various lines of business.
• Collaborate internally to qualify and prioritize market growth recommendations.
• Create and present external-facing materials to support network participation agreements.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience with health plans or payer contracting in value-based care, along with 7+ years of experience in team management and leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of Commercially insured populations.
• Results-driven with the capacity to influence and achieve objectives.
• Established history of building, maintaining, and enhancing relationships while effectively communicating with senior management.
• Expertise in business development at both local and national levels.
• Committed to promoting the transition from fee-for-service to value-based care.
