This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• The VP acts as a strategic collaborator with hotel ownership and Crescent leadership, focusing on driving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and increasing market share while nurturing a high-performing team of Area Directors of Revenue Strategy.
• Utilize practical management expertise to establish achievable goals and allocate appropriate resources for their attainment.
• Build relationships with all leaders within Crescent, ownership groups, asset managers, operations, sales, digital, business development, and finance to formulate and implement yield-enhancing strategies, evaluate hotel offerings, and pinpoint pricing opportunities.
• Collaborate with area and corporate directors to maximize engagement with hotel teams, ensuring efficient strategy execution.
• Partner with the digital department to generate ideas and support for online distribution of strategies and creative assets aimed at optimizing strategies in the digital arena.
• Identify areas for improvement, devise solutions, implement corrective actions, and ensure accountability within teams to achieve desired results.
• Oversee performance and manage essential hotel metrics, including KPIs and index scorecards.
• Create and implement initiatives that boost revenue and market share.
• Develop and apply advanced analytical models that assess elasticity and yield.
• Review pricing strategies for ancillary offerings and total hotel revenue.
• Clearly communicate company revenue management standards through property visits, remote audits, training sessions, and analysis of hotel revenue performance against set goals.
• Lead a team of revenue managers to enhance property and regional performance, refine business processes, and oversee high-profile strategic accounts.
• Educate and guide property leaders on generating precise revenue forecasts by market segment, including ongoing 30-, 60-, and 90-day forecasts.
• Reduce distribution costs across all channels, including CRO, GDS, brand.com, and third-party platforms.
• Exhibit leadership qualities that motivate and encourage staff to uphold the highest standards of revenue strategy and management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel revenue and/or yield management is essential.
• Strong background with independent/soft-brand hotels and multi-brand portfolios is necessary.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to effectively gather, analyze, and apply key data to support proposed initiatives.
• Capacity to cultivate relationships with hotel teams and senior operations leaders, along with confidence when engaging with ownership groups.
• Willingness to travel as required is mandatory.
• Highly competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on experience.
