This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the Vice President of Operations & Finance serves as Meridian's top business operations executive, responsible for overseeing financial stewardship and operational scalability within the firm.
• This role involves supervising Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Recruiting, Legal, and operational governance, while ensuring the establishment of systems, processes, controls, and infrastructure required to support ongoing growth.
• You will lead a streamlined internal team augmented by specialized third-party partners, with the authority to develop internal capabilities as business demands change.
• As an essential member of the leadership team, you will act as a strategic partner to the Managing Partner, offering financial insights, operational discipline, and organizational leadership throughout the enterprise.
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, operations, or executive management within an IT professional services organization is essential.
• Prior experience in roles such as Vice President of Finance and Operations, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Finance, or similar executive positions is required.
• Proven track record in company-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and operational planning.
• In-depth knowledge of project-based financial management, including utilization, project profitability, revenue forecasting, margin analysis, and working capital management.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling operational infrastructure in high-growth professional services settings.
• Experience in managing both internal teams and third-party vendors across various business operations.
• Strong understanding of business systems across financial, ERP, PSA, and operational platforms.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven capacity to influence executive decision-making and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
