Vice President of Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical strategy and product architecture while staying actively engaged in development.

• Accountable for transforming the platform from an estimation-based approach to a data-driven product, emphasizing data ingestion, AI integration, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of practical experience in backend development and software architecture.

• Extensive background in data ingestion pipelines.

• Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling.

• Experience with external API integrations, preferably with Plaid, Codat, or Railz.

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-tenant architectures.

• Comprehensive understanding of AI/LLMs and RAG pipelines.

• Significant experience working with Azure (Data Lake, Azure SQL, App Services).

• Experience in developing data-intensive products (fintech, analytics, etc.).

• Capability to make critical technical decisions for scalable systems.

• Solid financial knowledge (P&L, EBITDA, cash flow).

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.
