
Vice President of Client Service – Direct Response Fundraising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee the strategy, planning, and execution of a comprehensive direct mail fundraising program, guiding efforts from initial concept through production, analysis, and long-term optimization.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams in Creative, Analytics, and Production to ensure campaigns are well-considered, integrated, and yield strong results.
• Act as a primary client partner, cultivating deep relationships, advising on strategy and performance, and assisting in navigating complex decisions regarding budgets, creative direction, and program growth.
• Lead and mentor a team of fundraising professionals, promoting a collaborative, high-performing environment and supporting their continuous development.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in direct response fundraising
• In-depth expertise in direct mail fundraising, with experience in integrating digital and other channels
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, high-volume, or highly complex fundraising programs with multiple components
• Strong client management skills and experience acting as a senior strategic advisor
• Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
• Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A collaborative, enterprise mindset with the ability to partner across teams
