This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in developing engagement strategies for major enterprise accounts by recognizing opportunities, fostering executive relationships, and promoting strategic sales initiatives.
• Formulate and implement partnership strategies for cloud service providers, strategic technology alliances, and reseller ecosystems.
• Identify, recruit, and nurture vital partner relationships to enhance market access, accelerate pipeline growth, and establish long-term revenue prospects.
• Cultivate and sustain trusted relationships with CTOs, CISOs, and various technical and business stakeholders.
• Represent CIS in discussions with partners and enterprise customers.
• Collaborate across functions to shape partner programs, go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and joint engagement plans.
• Empower resellers to effectively position CIS offerings, identify target accounts, and facilitate joint business development efforts.
• Convert market insights, partner feedback, and customer needs into strategic and commercial recommendations.
• Establish business development frameworks, processes, and reports from the ground up.
• Own CIS’s opportunity pipeline and contribute to partner-sourced opportunities, channel expansion, strategic account engagement, and enterprise account influence.
• Track cybersecurity trends, buyer priorities, competitive dynamics, and changes within the cloud ecosystem.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Development team.
• Carry out other assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of demonstrable experience in business development, strategic partnerships, channel sales, or alliance management within the cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise technology sectors.
• 5+ years of experience in leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring individuals and/or teams.
• Proven success in building and nurturing partnerships with key customers and partners, including cloud service providers, resellers, distributors, or other strategic channel partners.
• Experience in supporting or engaging large enterprise accounts and partnerships, including navigating complex stakeholder environments and lengthy sales cycles.
• A robust existing network within the cybersecurity and cloud ecosystem.
• Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders, including CTOs, CISOs, and other senior buyers, in complex enterprise settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity market, buyer pain points, and the evolving cyber-risk needs of organizations.
• Ability to clearly and commercially connect customer and partner needs to CIS’s value proposition.
• Highly entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to develop strategies, processes, and partnerships from the ground up.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing growth, partnership, or revenue goals.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent with relevant experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in launching or establishing a new business development, partnerships, or channel function.
• Familiarity with partner program development, reseller enablement, and co-sell initiatives involving cloud platforms or security-focused solution providers.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with high autonomy and shifting priorities.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Executive leadership teams.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, industry trends, and enterprise buying processes pertinent to CIS’s offerings.
