Vice President, Medical - IBD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• The Vice President, Medical will undertake a dual role encompassing Clinical Development and Medical Affairs.

• Internally, this individual will offer medical leadership for the ongoing advancement of Numab's IBD program, playing a key role in clinical strategy, trial design, data interpretation, and development planning.

• A primary focus will be on shaping the design of early-phase studies in patients and identifying innovative strategies to maximize the potential for demonstrating significant clinical differentiation in a competitive therapeutic environment.

• Externally, they will foster and maintain trusted relationships with leading experts in IBD and related disciplines, ensuring that Numab's science, data, and therapeutic strategy are well understood within the broader context of disease biology and evolving treatment paradigms.

• The individual will act as a credible scientific ambassador for the organization, playing a vital role in influencing external scientific discussions regarding both the program and the future role of tri-specific antibodies in IBD.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or an equivalent medical qualification.

• Extensive experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical drug development.

• In-depth expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, with a well-established reputation and network within the IBD community.

• Experience that spans both Medical Affairs and Clinical Development.

• Strong grasp of inflammatory pathways, disease pathophysiology, biologic therapies, and the evolving treatment approaches in IBD.

• Proven experience in contributing to clinical study design, development strategy, and the interpretation of clinical data.

• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence scientific discussions with external experts through credible, evidence-based scientific exchange.
