This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the market access strategy for both marketed and pipeline products, focusing on patient access, formulary positioning, and reimbursement.

• Act as the organization's senior authority on payer engagement, reimbursement trends, patient access, contracting, and pricing.

• Oversee the Gross-to-Net strategy, government pricing reporting, and related governance processes.

• Monitor and communicate financial risks and opportunities linked to market access strategies and contract decisions.

• Chair the pricing committee and serve as the executive sponsor for the Deals Desk process.

• Provide executive oversight for commercial and government contracting activities, including GPOs, IDNs, wholesalers, distributors, and strategic clients.

• Manage government pricing programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, 340B, Federal Supply Schedule, Veterans Affairs, and relevant state initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to federal and state pricing regulations, government reporting mandates, and contractual obligations.

• Offer executive oversight of vendors involved in Gross-to-Net calculations, contract administration, and pricing analytics.

• Manage and enhance patient support initiatives, including copay, cash, telemedicine, and access hub programs.

• Optimize pharmacy and distribution networks, oversee DSA fees, and support both retail and non-retail classes of trade.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, and Finance on commercial execution, forecasting, contract investments, and revenue realization.

• Promote compliance, integrity, and ethical leadership throughout the organization.

• Contribute to New Product Planning and business development opportunities as required.

• Report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.

• Over 15 years of commercial experience with direct accountability for market access strategy, pricing, and reimbursement within the life sciences sector.

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

• Extensive knowledge and strong connections with key decision-makers at pharmacy benefit managers and national/regional payers.

• Experience with Medicaid policy, contracting, and reimbursement frameworks.

• Experience in categories that involve generic competitors and/or acute medication products is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical, strategic, and cross-functional leadership abilities.

• In-depth understanding of the payer landscape, market access dynamics, and current trends impacting reimbursement, contracting, and financial outcomes for brands.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 15%, as required.
