This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Report directly to the President & CEO.
• Lead the development of new business opportunities and sales initiatives within the global public sector.
• Guide and oversee a distributed sales team to achieve or surpass sales revenue, profitability, and budgetary goals.
• Create, execute, and manage a strategic sales plan aimed at expanding FreeBalance's presence in the global Public Financial Management (PFM) advisory, training, and solutions market.
• Mentor and grow the global sales team.
• Achieve global sales targets by effectively managing the sales process from planning to closing.
• Coordinate sales efforts and strategic initiatives alongside sales teams.
• Deliver engaging, customer-focused presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Present sales and revenue updates, along with accurate forecasts, to the management team.
• Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term customer relationships by comprehending the country context.
• Manage sales pipelines for new opportunities using a customer relationship management tool.
• Oversee all proposals, tenders, and negotiations in accordance with FreeBalance’s pricing policies.
• Maintain connections with key stakeholders, including customers, prospects, and partners.
• Attend trade shows or conferences as required.
• Travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• A university degree in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
• An MBA is considered an asset.
• Over 10 years of experience successfully selling advisory services and solutions on an international scale.
• Significant experience in sales, sales management, and sales leadership within the global public sector.
• Ability to communicate effectively at senior-level meetings with government officials.
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Proven track record of creative problem-solving.
• Excellent personnel development and management skills, particularly in mentoring.
• Capability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving client and market demands.
• Understanding of budgeting and P&L responsibilities.
• Experience in sales training.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in other languages is considered an asset.
