Vice President, External Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivating TEACH’s business development pipeline with state entities

• Identifying opportunities to enhance TEACH’s visibility in pertinent areas

• Collaborating closely with the VP of Regions to oversee all contract renewals

• Directing the strategy and processes for obtaining philanthropic funding

• Guaranteeing the production of strong and persuasive grant reports

• Exceptional communicator to engage with external audiences

• Proven history of generating new business with government agencies

• Skilled relationship manager with over 3 years of demonstrated success

• A clear commitment to TEACH’s mission

• Culturally aware and introspective leader

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• A strategic thinker with innovative problem-solving abilities

• Proven success in fundraising from foundations is highly preferred

• Experience in working with or managing lobbyists or policy advocates is a plus

• Familiarity with state budget cycles and legislative funding processes is preferred
