Vice President – Environmental Remediation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Direct and lead go-to-market strategies for environmental remediation services across various sectors.

• Create and implement regional growth strategies; initiate projects through established relationships.

• Supervise the investigation, design, and implementation of soil and groundwater remediation and mitigation programs.

• Oversee environmental due diligence (Phase I/II ESAs), liability assessments, and regulatory strategy.

• Provide guidance to clients on environmental risk allocation, indemnities, reserves, and insurance interfaces.

• Prepare well-supported reports and expert narratives for negotiations and offer expert witness assistance.

• Recruit, mentor, and nurture talent; promote best practices for service delivery, safety, and client relations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in environmental consulting and remediation.

• Experience in transactions, redevelopment, and litigation support is a plus.

• Proven success in originating and expanding business opportunities.

• Established client relationships and the capability to develop new markets.

• BS/MS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.

• Strong expertise in remediation design and execution.

• Professional certifications such as NJ LSRP, PE, PG, or equivalent are advantageous.

• Outstanding client-facing skills.

• Strong persuasive writing and presentation abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage complex, multi-site remediation projects.

• Experience in building and mentoring teams.

• Experience managing P&L levers and scaling a practice is highly sought after.
