Director of Enterprise Applications – IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversees a team of business analysts responsible for analyzing and optimizing business processes

• Aligns software application features with business workflows

• Develops reports to enhance employee efficiency and support informed decision-making

• Provides data and assists in analyzing information from multiple applications

• Directs helpdesk operations to address requests for functional and technical support

• Builds and maintains relationships with service providers

• Continuously improves the application environment to adapt to evolving needs

• Facilitates prioritization decisions for application enhancements and support requests

• Oversees the licensing for ERP and corporate applications

• Ensures cross-training within the applications team

• Offers Project Management and functional guidance for ERP deployments

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related business fields

• Preferred 7 to 12 years of experience, with consideration for equivalent qualifications

• Specialized training or proven knowledge of ERP functionality

• Minimum of five years in supervisory or managerial roles

• Experience in managing and negotiating software licensing fees and maintenance contracts

• Project Management certification is a plus

• Demonstrated project management expertise is essential

• Previous experience with ERP implementation and upgrades

• Familiarity with data conversion and consolidation concepts for migrations and consolidated reporting

• Willingness to travel, averaging up to 25% of the time
