This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and manage the entire sales process from initial prospecting to contract finalization for employer groups with over 20,000 covered lives.
• Create and implement enterprise sales strategies that align with SmithRx’s growth objectives and value proposition.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with benefits decision-makers, consultants, brokers, large employers, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide engaging presentations and solution demonstrations that effectively communicate the SmithRx value proposition and its clinical/economic impact.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Clinical, Account Management, Legal, and Pricing/Proposals to ensure alignment and readiness for onboarding large clients.
• Accurately predict pipeline and deal status using Salesforce, while keeping detailed records of all prospecting and sales activities.
• Represent SmithRx at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a senior member of the enterprise sales team, with a willingness to travel frequently for these events.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, competitor positioning, and healthcare/PBM trends to guide strategy and positioning.
• At least 5 years of experience in PBM or pharmacy benefits-related roles, along with an additional 5 years of sales experience in healthcare.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA or a relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated success or familiarity with closing large, complex deals involving employer groups with over 20,000 member lives.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit design, pricing models, and competitive positioning within the PBM sector.
• Proficient in using Salesforce CRM for managing pipelines, reporting, and tracking opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• High level of professionalism, executive presence, and capacity to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
