This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Lead and provide guidance to Agile divisions' value streams.
• Effectively communicate and advocate for the company's culture and mission.
• Collaborate with senior leadership of value streams to align missions with the company's vision.
• Encourage iterative and thoughtful decision-making within self-organized teams.
• Drive the advancement of software development and Agile practices within the organization.
• Identify the organizational needs for changes in systems, structures, and culture to foster agility and adaptability.
• Support value stream leaders in balancing enterprise risk with agility.
• Understand and strategize the product roadmap.
• Develop short, mid, and long-term key results across multiple divisions to achieve value stream goals.
• Identify obstacles hindering the success of strategic themes or objectives.
• Oversee and refine talent acquisition roadmaps and succession plans for divisions.
• Prepare and present reviews, compensation adjustments, and promotions.
• Supervise and refine training and development plans to onboard and enhance the skills of the value stream workforce.
• Identify, implement, and promote the adoption of best practices within the leadership community.
• Mentor and support team members.
• 11 years of experience or equivalent in software engineering, quality engineering, and/or product management.
• 9 years of experience in leading software delivery teams.
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of excellence in leading and supporting divisional initiatives.
• Extensive experience in building self-organizing teams that adhere to organizational engineering and architecture standards.
• Proficient in using Agile metrics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of people leadership practices, including change management, recruiting, hiring, performance management, corrective action, and compensation administration.
• Preferred: 9 years of programming experience in C#, F#, PHP, Python, Java, JavaScript, or other object-oriented/functional programming languages.
• A graduate degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Certified in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agile practices.
