• Propel commercial growth by managing a diverse portfolio of client accounts and prospects.
• Spearhead proactive business development efforts within designated accounts and target prospects.
• Identify, assess, and convert opportunities for consulting, analytics, and primary market research projects.
• Create and implement account strategies for key clients.
• Foster growth through cross-selling, upselling, and recognizing emerging client requirements.
• Conduct consultative sales discussions with senior stakeholders in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Manage the entire sales process from opportunity detection to proposal creation, contract negotiations, and closing.
• Supervise project execution in collaboration with the Consulting team.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with decision-makers and influencers across commercial, market access, medical affairs, clinical development, insights, analytics, and corporate strategy domains.
• Collaborate with consulting, research, and analytics teams to craft unique solutions and enhance proposal conversion.
• Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline.
• Ensure precise forecasting and meet individual bookings and revenue objectives.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive actions, and emerging client priorities.
• Represent MAC at industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events.
• Adhere to company operating procedures and client policy stipulations, including pharmacovigilance.
• A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, account management, or consultative sales within healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, market research, analytics, or consulting.
• Proven history of consistently meeting or surpassing individual revenue targets.
• Demonstrated success in selling intricate consulting, market research, analytics, or strategic solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms.
• Experience in building relationships with senior stakeholders in commercial, marketing, medical, market access, clinical, insights, and business strategy roles.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently in a lengthy sales-cycle environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of the primary market research, analytics, and consulting service landscape within life sciences.
• Strong strategic and consultative selling capabilities, with the aptitude to shape and secure complex, multi-service engagements.
• Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Capability to mentor and enhance sales talent without formal management authority.
• Familiarity with drug development, commercialization, and marketing processes in the biopharmaceutical sector.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market insights into commercial strategies.
• Must comply with company operational procedures and client policy requirements, including pharmacovigilance.
