This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and secure new 3PL partnerships in the beauty, cosmetics, skincare, wellness, and consumer goods sectors. Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
• Industry-Focused Solution Selling: Utilize expertise in beauty and consumer brand supply chains to offer tailored 3PL solutions, including warehousing, e-commerce fulfillment, retail distribution, kitting, subscription box fulfillment, transportation management, and inventory optimization.
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with both prospective and existing clients. Understand the operational needs, growth ambitions, and customer expectations of each brand to deliver high-quality, scalable logistics solutions.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis: Analyze trends within the beauty, wellness, retail, and consumer goods markets, including changing e-commerce demands, retailer compliance standards, and consumer purchasing behaviors. Use insights to pinpoint growth opportunities and shape business strategy.
• Sales Leadership: Contribute to and support a high-performance business development culture focused on revenue generation, client acquisition, and sustainable account growth.
• Proposal & Contract Management: Oversee the creation of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, pricing strategies, and service agreements. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) that align operational capabilities with client expectations and profitability objectives.
• Sales Funnel Management: Oversee the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation. Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide regular reporting, forecasting, and KPI updates to executive leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, customer service, transportation, and finance teams to ensure seamless onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support for new beauty and consumer goods clients.
• Growth & Innovation: Identify untapped potential within emerging beauty and consumer brands. Advocate for innovative logistics solutions that enhance speed-to-market, scalability, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor business development KPIs, pipeline performance, and revenue growth metrics. Continuously assess sales strategies and operational alignment to surpass business objectives.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment services, with a strong emphasis on business development and new client acquisition.
• Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales targets, securing large contracts, and expanding a business portfolio in the 3PL or logistics industry.
• Demonstrated success in selling logistics and fulfillment solutions to beauty, wellness, cosmetics, consumer goods, or retail brands.
• Strong understanding of omnichannel fulfillment, DTC operations, retail distribution, warehousing, and transportation management.
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with a history of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
• Ability to sell complex logistics solutions to senior-level decision-makers.
• High energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with a passion for acquiring new business and contributing to company growth.
• Experience in leading and mentoring sales teams.
• Capability to inspire and motivate others while managing a high-performing, target-driven team.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
