VFX Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Define the overarching vision for the VFX project that aligns with the client's creative and technical requirements;

• Collaborate with the VFX Producer and Executive Producer to support bidding processes;

• Articulate the creative vision and convert it into actionable objectives for the project team;

• Partner with the VFX Producer to ensure that all projects have a clearly established production timeline, sufficient resources, performance benchmarks, and milestones;

• Oversee the creative workflow, including daily evaluations of assets and shots, offering consistent feedback and direction to team members;

• Together with the VFX Producer, routinely assess project budgets and manage resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery;

• Facilitate regular updates on project statuses and foster a continuous positive and cooperative working relationship with clients;

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in the visual effects industry

• At least 3 years in a supervisory role

• Proficient in using Shotgun project management software

• Strong understanding of the VFX production process from inception to final delivery
